Retinyl Linoleate

Retinyl linoleate is an ester of retinol and linoleic acid, a milder form of vitamin A. It is converted in the skin to retinol and then to retinoic acid, offering anti-aging and skin-renewing benefits with reduced irritation. The linoleic acid component also provides moisturizing properties.

Frequently asked questions

What makes retinyl linoleate different from other retinoids?
Retinyl linoleate combines retinol with linoleic acid, which may offer additional skin barrier support and moisturizing benefits while still providing the anti-aging effects of a retinoid.
Can retinyl linoleate be used by individuals with sensitive skin?
As a milder retinoid, retinyl linoleate is generally well-tolerated by sensitive skin. It's advisable to start with a low concentration and gradually increase usage.
